inspired by Japanese lacquer and metalwork shapes. The
flat-sided design of this teaware range suited it to different
styles of decoration, both at Etruria and by outside artists.

Teapot and cover, cream-coloured earthenware with transluscent dark blue glaze and rectangular strip of decoration at an angle, of flowers on a cream background.
