Born and raised in China, Zhao Jinya discovered a passion for glass whilst living in Hangzhou, China. Her work uses opaque and transparent layered blown glass to deliberately obscure the interior of the specific enigmatic forms. The straight, linear form is used in combination with soft curved form to create a heightened sense of balance.
