Object history | Exhibitions: The Royal Society of Painter-Etchers and Engravers Annual Exhibition, 1955, no.93 This print was commissioned by Charles L Pickering, head of the Printing Department of the Medway School of Art, as a frontispiece to a proposed publication of 27 Selected Psalms. The block, provided by Pickering, was returned to him after the artist had taken not more than five impressions. The publication did not materialize and it is likely that no more impressions were printed. |
