Object history
The caption in the lower left corner reads: Help move this little trunk so it hits the [white] boss in the forehead. During 1919 (from c. April - January 1920) Polish (White) forces repelled the Red Army from much of Belo Russia and a considerable part of Ukraine, but by the end of July 1920 the Red Army was itself advancing into Poland. The treaty of Riga, March 18, 1921, left the greater part of Ukraine to the Soviets.
