Object history
The calendar lists festivals in the Christian Church such as Christmas Day and Baptism of Christ, in January, the Annunciation and Easter in April, Transfiguration of Christ and Assumption of the Virgin in August, but it also lists the Day of the Paris Commune (March 18th), Feast of the Workers of the World (May 1st) and the Day of the Proletarian Revolution (November 7th).
