A black and white photograph on card of a woman stood on steps with her body turned to the right and her face in profile. She wears a long unstructured jacket; waistcoat; white blouse with Peter Pan collar and a black tie formed into a bow; and, breeches and long boots. Both sleeves have an opening revealing the fabric of the blouse. She holds an axe behind over her shoulders. In the foreground left is an urn and a ?hoe and two fabric bags on the right. In the background is a stone building.
