Decoration: 4 full page and 12 half page miniatures in narrow arched or square-topped frames, on grounds of chequer pattern or of blue with stars and gold clouds; borders of ivy and rose leaves; initials of 2-3 lines, mainly in blue and lake on coloured grounds.
Attributed to the workshop of the Rohan Master (Maître des Grandes Heures de Rohan), France.
Binding: ca. 1900. Light brown calf with blind-tooling, by the Guild of Women Binders, Hampstead (stamp).
