Soft wood armchair carved in openwork and relief, lacquered dark green and gilt on a gesso ground. Fluted uprights curving backwards, with scrolled top carved with a chain of lotus pattern. Three horizontal back bars, the upper two covered by a panel of upholstery, striped yellow and grey. Horizontal squared arms padded with upholstery resting on supports in the form of winged female terminal figures in gold and green. Back legs curving backwards and backwards-curving front legs with haired cloven hoof feet.
