Carved and stained back. The tall-back has a panel of canework enclosed within a moulded framework, the arched cresting is carved and pierced with a design of scrollwork and foliated ornament. The arms which curve outwards and in volutes and rest on turned supports. The front legs of scroll form united by arched stretchers with raised central stretcher shaped and carved, turned back and side stretchers.
