Materials and techniques
The bodice of the dress was embroidered by artisans at Atelier Montex over 750 hours and incorporating approximately 55000 embriodered elements including sequins, beads, ribbon and tambour embroidered silk threads (known as Lunéville technique in France). The skirt of the dress was embroidered by artisans at Maison Lemarié over 757 hours and incorporating 2200 feathers, 72 metres of chiffon and sequin trimming and approximately 3000 embroidered elements. The shoes were made by Maison Massaro from lambskin leather and grosgrain ribbon.
