Figure of a Jain Tirthankara. The Tirthankara is seated in the fixed Dhyana asana, and is nude with a srivatsa on his chest. The figure is now black but bears traces of having once been yellow. On the base is his cognisance, which may be intended for the Nilotpala, in which case the figure is that of the 21st Jina Neminatha, whose cognisance is a Conch shell. On the base is an incised inscription in Devanagari characters, which is now almost indecipherable.
