The MPMan F-10 was the first commercial portable MP3 player launched in Spring 1998 and made by the South Korean company Saehan Electronics. At its initial launch, the F-10 with it's docking station base was available only in a limited number to few Asian countries. The player marked an important development in the way music was consumed, which paved the way for the digital norm today.
