On verso: 'St. George. Martyr Patron of Soldiers. Feast: April 23. Called "the Great" because of the great power of his intercession, St. George is one of the Fourteen Holy Helpers. He is the model of knighthood, the protector and avenger of women. Prayer. St, George, pray for your many needy, that they may have the grace to combat the evil dragon of sin.' |
