On verso: 'St. Donald. Confessor. Feast: July 15. This was a holy man of Scotland. With his nine daughters he lived a life of devotion and penance at Oglivy in Forfarshire. His shrine, with that of his "Nine Maidens" is still venerated there. Prayer. St. Donald, pray for the fathers of today that they may furnish to their children an example of holiness and self-sacrifice. Heavenly 71. Printed in Italy.' |
