On recto: 'July First. Queen. Esther.' On Verso:' Esther. Queen. Feast: July 1. This holy woman has a whole book devoted to her story in the Old Testament. Beautiful, dutiful and brave, she saved her people from the wiles of a wicked counselor and from the unjust anger of her spouse, King Assuerus. Prayer. Esther, prototype of Our Lady the Blessed Virgin Mary, pray for us that we may have the courage to act wisely and prudently, inspite of danger and persecution. Heavenly 72. Printed in Italy.'
