Object history | From the Tournee range manufactured by Thomas China, Germany, to Martin Hunt's design, and launched April 1989. Queensberry Hunt's promotional brochure (in Subject Information File) states that "Tournee is in the permanent collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum... [and its] design is the skillful articulation of squares, circles, ellipses and twisted hexagons....the plates are designed to be made by dust pressing, the ceramic industry's latest manufacturing technology". |
