Earthenware vase of squat baluster shape with a small upright neck and with horizontal ridges around the lower part of the body. It is decorated with an incised design of two fir-cones and leaves which are painted in deep pink, blue and green on a background of merging colours, same of which have dripped down the sides of the vase, leaving part of the earthenware exposed. The colours round the neck are soft oranges and yellow running into pale pinks and greens. The inside is glazed in dark bluish black.

Physical description
Earthenware vase of squat baluster shape with a small upright neck and with horizontal ridges around the lower part of the body. It is decorated with an incised design of two fir-cones and leaves which are painted in deep pink, blue and green on a background of merging colours, same of which have dripped down the sides of the vase, leaving part of the earthenware exposed.
