Object history | Stig Lindberg’s painted faiences were first launched with those by Wilhelm Kåge in an exhibition ‘Fajanser målade i vår’ (faiences painted this spring), Stockholm, 1942. Dishes like this were designed by him and decorated by a painter in the Gustavsberg studio. In this case the painter has used a fish as his/her personal symbol. |
