This leaf-shaped bowl was manufactured by the Gustavsberg ceramic factory in Sweden as a factory-made ‘unique’ piece. It is number 247 of a limited series. The rich brown-black glaze is inspired by Chinese Jian stoneware glazes of the Song dynasty (960–1279) and would have varied slightly on each bowl.
