This images shows a detail of an artist’s smock designed by Mr Freedom. The pocket takes the form of a bold white artist’s palette, in satin. It is applied to a colourful printed cotton which emulate an artist’s brush-strokes and shows embroidered paint brushes.

The Mr Freedom label was founded by the fashion entrepreneur Tommy Roberts who opened his first clothes shop in the King’s Road, Chelsea, London in September 1969.

Brightly coloured artist's smock with a patch pocket in the form of a bold white satin motif representing an artists palette. Brush mark design in printed cotton. Shirt collar with a long black satin tie at the neck, yoke and long sleeves, with a front button opening with pink buttons, and a satin appliqué artist palette and brush pocket on the right front.
