24 leaves entitled 'Pattern sheets'. The 10 first ones are dedicated to cotton and 14 last ones to wool. Each 'pattern sheet' comprises 6 textile swatches. The swatches are numbered 1 to 144 and accompanied by their components (usually mordant and dye are listed). Numbers in brackets under each sample refer to pages in the two text volumes (also 1893) where the colouring matters are described (both of these volumes are also in the National Art Library collection).
