Francesca Lindh was born to a Finnish-Italian family in Anversa degli Abruzzi, an Italian village known for its ceramics. She moved to Finland when she was 16 and began working at the Arabia ceramics factory.

This studio piece created at the factory shows her love of colour, texture and form. She combines three different coloured clays with impressions of grass.
