Object history | This dress was part of a trunk of garments found in the attic of a Mrs Curtis of Sussex, and given by her to the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art for theatrical use. The Academy passed the garments on to the Museum, from which we selected this dress and shoes. It was presumed at the time that the clothes belonged to an ancestor of Mrs Curtis. |
