The jacket, in royal purple velvet, has revers of rainbow velvet and is lined with synthetic jersey in a dramatic bargello-style stripe in green, purple, orange, lavender and red. It buttons with brass buttons from a Canadian Navy dress uniform. The trousers are in a screen-printed rainbow spectrum velvet, with wide self fabric belt loops and a fly zipper. The outfit is accompanied by a tube of synthetic jersey worn as a scarf in the same rainbow spectrum design.
