Binding: Bound ca. 1899 in purple goatskin with inlays of yellow leather in the form of roses. Gold tooling in rose plant pattern; some rose leaves blocked in solid, others in outline. Running leaf pattern round borders and turn-ins. Marbled end papers in blue, red and green. Headbands in cream silk; top edge gilt. Signed on verso of front free endpaper with the stamp: 'Guild of Women-Binders'
