Caudle or chocolate cup and saucer of soft-paste porcelain. Both pieces are decorated with a broad yellow band between two narrower bands of blue chevron ornament intertwined by a wavy leaf stem in gold. The cup has two loop handles decorated with gilt foliage.

Caudle or chocolate cup and saucer of soft-paste porcelain. Both pieces are decorated with a broad yellow band between two narrower bands of blue chevron ornament intertwined by a wavy leaf stem in gold. The cup has two loop handles decorated with gilt foliage.
Marks and inscriptions
'D' surmounted by a crown and crossed batons and six dots

Pattern no 125 was probably introduced in 1787-88. Impressed marks at Derby likewise date from 1787-88.
