This 'Intersectional Pride Pin' is part of the Walt Disney Company Pride collection. The colours used in this are the same as in the Philadelphia Flag. The intersectional ‘Philadelphia flag’ was first used in Philadelphia for Pride celebrations in 2017. The flag adds a black and brown stripe to the six-stripe pride flag designed by Gilbert Baker in 1978 to represent the inclusion of people of colour in the LGBTQ community.
The pin is in the recognisable shape of Disney's mascot, Mickey Mouse, and was created for the Disney Store for Pride Month 2021. The Disney pin trading is a collecting hobby which has been endorsed by the company in their many parks.
