Sugar basin and cover of soft-paste porcelain, enamelled and gilt. Cylindrical body, partially fluted, tapers inwards to the foot. The cover has a gilt fir-cone knob. Below the rim a blue band with gilt wreath and borders from which is suspended a festoon in green and red. The fluting is painted in blue and gold.

Physical description
Sugar basin and cover of soft-paste porcelain, enamelled and gilt. Cylindrical body, partially fluted, tapers inwards to the foot. The cover has a gilt fir-cone knob. Below the rim a blue band with gilt wreath and borders from which is suspended a festoon in green and red. The fluting is painted in blue and gold.
