Cruet wooden stand and set of cruets of enamelled and gilt soft-paste porcelain. The bottles are all pear shaped with contracted cylindrical necks. Painted in enamels with bouquets and sprays of flowers. Inscribed in black Roman capital letters in cartouches of gold scrollwork, respectively: 'Sugar', 'Oil', 'Vinegar', 'Pepper' and 'Mustard'. The mahogany stand consists of a flat pierced disc joined to a flat lower disc with a moulded edge, by three short baluster columns, in the middle a handle formed of a high baluster column surmounted by a loop. Three ivory knob feet. The mount of the vinegar bottle bears the London hallmark for 1799-1800.
