Figure of a shepherd in soft-paste porcelain painted in enamels and gilded. He stands with his right arm outstretched originally proffering an apple, now missing, and holding a basket of fruit to his left side. There is a dog at his right side and he stands on an elaborate rococo scrolled base. He wears a flowered yellow-lined cape over a flowered suit of coat and knee-breeches. Behind him is a tree-stump with 'bocage.'
