Beyblade began as a comic and animated series in Japan. It is about a group of children who battle with highly powerful and enchanted spinning tops. This Galman (an example of the series Driger Shooter) was manufactured by Hasbro in 2002 and became the electronic incarnation of the spinning top. In 2003 it became extremely popular as the Beyblade series had a cult following. However, its popularity was relatively short lived.
