Object history | Registered File number 1993/1964, Streetstyle exhibition 1994-1995, in the exhibition it was part of an outfit called 'Rockabilly UK 1977-8' (includes the donkey jacket T.561-1993, the boots T.562-1993, the bootlace tie T.310-1994 and the shirt T.311-1994). The look of these jeans was deliberately dishevelled and shabby, in reaction to the overly smart and polished Teddy Boy look of the previous generation. |
