This group of figures in white marble symbolises Love crowned by Fidelity. Fidelity, a nude figure, is seated on a rock and crowns Love, who is in the act of lifting her from her seat. At the foot of the rock lies a small dog. It is thought to be the work of Étienne-Maurice Falconet and to date from the eighteenth century.
