Deep well, sloping rim with vertical edge. On one side of the rim, beneath, there is a loop for hanging. Painted at the bottom with formal flowers in blue, red, yellow and green. On the rim there is a trellis pattern in blue and brown.

Brief description
Red earthenware painted in colours over a white slip. Romanian (Transylvania), late 19th or early 20th century.
Physical description
Deep well, sloping rim with vertical edge. On one side of the rim, beneath, there is a loop for hanging. Painted at the bottom with formal flowers in blue, red, yellow and green. On the rim there is a trellis pattern in blue and brown.
