Cylindrical with loop handle. The domed cover has a globular thumb piece. Painted with single sprays of flowers in colours on a speckled manganese ground in straight-sided panels, semi-circular at top and bottom, outlined in blue. Between the panels, formal flowers and foliage in red, blue and green. Formerly had a metal stand.

Tankard of buff earthenware covered with a tin glaze, painted in colours and mounted with a pewter lid. German, probably Erfurt, about 1759; lid dated 1760.

Painted with single sprays of flowers in colours on a speckled manganese ground in straight-sided panels, semi-circular at top and bottom, outlined in blue. Between the panels, formal flowers and foliage in red, blue and green. Formerly had a metal stand.
