Front: title lettered in black on dull pink scroll, publisher in black in green grass frame. Colour illustration of girl holding stems of rose-bush, supporting the frame. Flowers on either side. Back: blank. Spine: red cloth, title and publisher lettered in gold and gold daisy motif. Endpapers: green silhouette vignettes of pot-plant with child's head as flower and girl with watering-can. Numerous chromolithographic illustrations some full page and some in text. On double leaves.
