Reform Studio was founded by Hend Riad and Mariam Hazem in Cairo in 2012 with the goal of creating fashion and home products that have a positive impact on society. Reform Studio’s products are made from a textile developed by the pair, a handwoven material comprised of a widely-spaced warp of recycled cotton or polyester yarn and weft of strips made from discarded plastic bags.
