Dish, painted in blue, orange, yellow, copper green, brownish grey, opaque white. In the middle, in a medallion, is a youth in dress of the period, seated playing a violin on a rock in landscape. The remaining upper surface covered with a repeating symmetrical composition of grotesque masks surmounted by vases, dolphin scrolls, cornucopias flanked by birds, and palmettes, en grisaille in reserve on a blue ground. On the back of the rim, four concentric bands in orange and yellow.
