Sensing difference Designing perfume packaging is a conundrum for mass manufacturing. While needing an original look to stand out and feel luxurious, production must be straightforward so it can be made easily in significant numbers. Stephen Burks designed the Missoni Profumi packaging to include a bottle featuring a laser-cut swatch of Missoni’s signature fabric. Colourful and unique, it adds a sense of customisation to the large-scale production of perfume.
