Nearly cylindrical, slightly expanding to the base; loop handle. Painted with a group of stylised pomegranates, figs and other fruit in purple, green and yellow; on either side of the handle is a formal tree in manganese purple; line borders above and below in manganese purple. The tankard is mounted with a pewter base and cover with thumb-knob. The cover is inscribed and dated R.E.R. 1752.
