Tankard of buff earthenware covered with a tin glaze and painted in colours. Austrian (Gmunden), about 1800.
Physical description
Round the middle, a band consisting of three panels of stylised flowers and foliage separated by panels of geometrical ornament. Above and below this band two rings of green outlined in purple. The tankard is mounted with a hinged pewter lid.
