Albarello of cylindrical shape with two imposing strap handles, sloping shoulders and everted rim. Tin-glazed outside (probably over a white slip) and lead glazed on the inside. Painted in blue, copper green and yellow. On one side on the body, a symmetrical composition of grotesques on blue ground, in the lower part of the body on a band the inscription 'ZAFARANO' (saffron). On the shoulder and around the base a band painted in the porcelain style blue on white. The reverse is undecorated a part from the helping lines of the inscriptions at the front.
