Gonsalvo de Cordova I, was born in 1453 and not in 1443, as in Armand. However on this medal the grandson Gonsalvo de Cordova II (1524-1578) is represented. He is son of Elvira (the daughter of el Gran Capitán = Gonsalvo de Cordova I) and Lius Fernández de Cordova. The image of Davalos probably dates from before 1561 (1559-1560). see Armand III, 67, H, and III, 65, B
