Romulus stands on a platform to the left, with a soldier seated on its steps and grasps the hand of one of four old men who approach bearing olive-branches at the head of a group of women with bundles under their arms. At the base of the composition athe mark: ALF.P.F. VRBINI 1606. Some patches of crawling glaze on front and back. Broken and restored.

Physical description
Large dish depicting Romulus receiving the Sabine women.
