The figure of an angel is adopted from one in an engraving of Luna, one of an allegorical series illustrating the influence of the planets, dated 1533, published by Gabriele giolitto de' Ferrari, (Lippmann, The Seven Planets, Berlin. 1893. / Rackham Notes 1960. / Ravanelli Guidotti, 1996 (Manara) pp. 228-9 'Uncertain Attribution to Manara'.
