Dress fabric, woven silk and metal thread.
Displayed behind glass.
Warp: pink silk
Weft: orange, white, blue and green silk; metal thread: silver-gilt strip S-wound on white silk core.
Selvedge: 2 cords of pink silk.
Gold metal thread ground with offset rows in which 2 main motifs are slightly different:
[1] red lotus blossom with small blue centre alternating with a small blue flower with red centre which is enclosed within an almost circular green stem with 2 small red and blue tulips at the top and small leaves and red buds at the bottom.
[2] A slightly elongated form of the red lotus alternating with a much larger blue flower enclosed within an almost circular green stem with leaves; from the lower part of this there is a red and blue flower in the centre and 2 stems curved down and in and end with a blue star-like flower with red centre. The red lotus has a similar arrangement below it in which the green stem encloses 2 small red blossoms. A red and blue flower hangs below from the centre.
