Dark blue silk warp; dark blue silk ground weft.
Brocading wefts: green, pink and orange silk and silver strip S-wound on a white silk core.
Selvedge: one cord of plied white silk.
Dark blue ground with an unpatterned area at the bottom and then rows of a repeated motif: a bird with a large crest sitting on a short branch with a flower near the base and buds on top. There is a butterfly by the buds. There are 2 small cloud-like motifs between the birds on their branches. The birds alternate direction in alternate rows.
