Monopoly Pizza is an official variant of the popular multi-player board game Monopoly, released in December 2018.
Whilst gameplay follows that of the ‘traditional’ Monopoly, the objective of this board game is not to buy and sell property. Instead, the objective is for the player to collect as much pizza as they can, buying pizza spaces and picking up slice tokens that correspond to a type of pizza such veggie, barbecue chicken or pepperoni.
The board is decorated with photographs of pizza toppings, and the packaging is designed to look like an American style takeaway pizza box, complete with cardboard pizza inside. The six plastic counters depict objects associated with American style takeaway pizza: a delivery motorbike, a pizza cutter, a pizza paddle, a chef, a grater, and a parmesan shaker.
