This bronze medal depicts the bust of Andreas Gritti who was the Doge of Venice from 1523-38. He is represented wearing ducal robes and crown. On the reverse is an elevation of the church of San Francessco della Vigna.

The medal is made by Andreas Spinelli (d. 1572), in Italy in 1534.
