A rectangular wooden board containing 30 cavities for 30 cylindrical blocks. Within the 30 blocks there are 6 colour groups: blue, green, orange, black, yellow and red, each containing 5 blocks of the same colour. The 6 cylinder groups are different heights, ranging from the shortest (blue blocks) to the tallest (red blocks). The set is housed in a card box covered with blue paper; an orange paper label adhered to the front of the lid features printed text: 'EARLY STAGES / Peg grading board'
